What was I thinking…
Um…
…yeah, so, my wife says, “leave it for tomorrow,” but I say, “…I’m fine I want to finish tonight.” Apparently she was right…
On a scale of 1-10 the suck aspect of these items is only about an 8, maybe a 9.2 tops, but if I sold them to you chances are you’d light me up on fb and other (un)social media…so the items here only partially suck but don’t suck enough for a full blow up on whatever they call Twitter now.
Plus, I took some money off the regular price as some sort of bribe so you will be nice. Trust me on this, unless you are my wife you will never notice the difference between the “suck-some” items and the “non-suck” full price things.
(BTW…the “suck-some” cards got sent to our neighbors during the holidays…just saying…”
These freakin’ cards drive me NUTS with the color difference between how they photograph and how they look in person…
This is the flower and how it looks when I shoot it in studio…
…it is one of my favorite photographs but apparently I’m not one of ITS favorite photographers…
This is the final design/production image…
…it has changed some as we added the several layers of texture and color to reflect the Old Masters Baroque kind of style. As soon as we do that this is what happens…
…no matter what I, or the printer does, it goes dark…
Now, as you may or may not know, there is in all the photos slight…SLIGHT…changes in color, the pictures on the site can, and most times, WILL, look a little different in your hands, in your light, lots of things come into play, including the texture of the paper and the process we use, 2-4 layers to try and get close to those who used paint and canvas some 300 years ago.
This flower though is killing me
Because of that, and my desire that you don’t bad-mouth me to bad, I’m cutting the price on this edition of the Garden Issue. If it didin’t make me nuts it would be a $3.50 note card all day long, but it ain’t, it’s about 71.428571428571% of a cool looking card so we are selling them for $2.50…a buck off full price…and will still ship them to you free. The FOUR card pack, all the same card, will be discounted as well: $10.00. If for some reason, who knows why you would want to, you can buy all 20 of the cards for $40 if for some reason there are 20 of them left.
There ya go…
